I suppose a gym victory is a good way to celebrate a birthday. Though I'm not... sure how much a birthday matters at all anymore. It seems somewhat... pointless. ... I suppose there's nothing to be done for it.

In any case, I'm wondering just... how we find this... machine that allows us to use the skill we can use with this badge. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any at all?

You might have better luck asking around if anyone wants to breed one of theirs.

vulpix. they look very versatile.

some of the pokedex entries don't seem to match up with personalities for all the pokemon, it seems.

I meant more in appearance. I know that pretty things can be not so pretty after you get to know them.

true. but i don't really mind that much! i prefer both form and function, but function over form if i really have to choose.

i suppose that's an odd thing for someone who designs things to say, but something that sits there and is useless just takes up space.

Well, if you want to keep it traditional, I suppose we could head there next. The path from Violet also goes to Goldenrod, however, and I remember you wanted to head there.

Goldenrod would be helpful. there's more things there and it seems more central, so setting up our new 'hub' there makes more sense to me.

Then we can head there. It's not like Azalea is going anywhere.
