I suppose a gym victory is a good way to celebrate a birthday. Though I'm not... sure how much a birthday matters at all anymore. It seems somewhat... pointless. ... I suppose there's nothing to be done for it.

In any case, I'm wondering just... how we find this... machine that allows us to use the skill we can use with this badge. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any at all?

I don't know where you can find them. Apparently, some gyms hand then out, or you find them in the wilderness.

I don't either. It's curious, considering how most of the bird-like Pokemon have wings and some get big enough to fly. I wonder why... this is the case?

That one you can get either from beating Sabrina in Saffron City, or Chuck in Cianwood. They're both like the, uh, [COUNTS...] fifth or sixth ones in their regions so they're tougher.

It might take a while to get there, in that case. That's... disappointing, very disappointing. I suppose we'll have to continue on foot or on the back of Red's Arcanine for now.

It depends on whether you wanna stay in cities or travel around. 'Cause it's only like a weekend walking to Goldenrod, which is the big city. Or if you wanna get all the badges, I think you're technically supposed to go to Azalea first and then to Goldenrod.
